Angry Birds Golden Egg

Like most kids and many adults around the world, Angry Birds phenomenon has exploded in our house and has been for a long time now. We even have no Angry Birds days just to give Jackson a break. Boy does he hate that!

Any who, he has several Angry Birds stuffed toys (the ones that make noise).  But you never see golden eggs anywhere. Since he is being to have more imaginative play lately I decided to make one. This was Jackson’s 1st sewing lesson, I do believe he enjoyed it.

What you need:

Stuffing

– Yellow Felt

Step 1:

Half the felt and drawn an egg and cut it out. Making 2 eggs.

Step 2:

Sew the two pieces together (I used a zig-zag stitch) leaving just enough of an opening to fold your egg inside out .

Step 3:

Fill your egg with stuffing.

Step 4:

Sew up the opening of your egg.

Not the best, but my 3 year old isn’t picky.

Now you have your golden egg to go with the rest of the birds… and pig.
